We want to thank everyone for their prayers and giving to our Brew Truck 15 project this year. Pictured is the type of vehicle (in a darker colour to blend with the ADF out bush), which we trust in the Lord, will be purchased and ready for use in 2015; and we know will be of great benefit in ministering to the troops in the field.
Our vision is a truck with the back fitted out to carry welfare stock for the ADF, a protective Bull Bar and an on board, battery powered fridge. EWS will custom design what we can for optimum use by Defence in the field. Whether it’s at the wharf with the Navy, near an airfield for the RAAF, or in a tough bush location with the Army, imagine how welcome a cold drink is; and what a gateway to ministry, to offer refreshments to an ADF member in a harsh location, or to one who is hot, homesick and far from family.
It is this gesture that opens the door to the Gospel and to urgently needed attention and care both physical and emotional. We still need around $5000.00 for these components for the vehicle. We appeal to you to prayerfully consider if the Lord is leading you to help us with this final stage for Brew Truck 15. Let’s pray to see a new and well equipped vehicle realised in 2015, with the potential to bring Christ’s love and the Gospel, to many ADF members in need of hope and salvation, in the next 15 years or more.
